Many tasks are repetitive: collecting, processing, and analyzing data. I develop automated workflows that use artificial intelligence methods to efficiently analyze large datasets. This results in reliable outputs, for instance, on runoff pathways or heat stress, that support planning and decision-making processes.

NIS-Setup and Support
The Nature Information System (NIS) is designed for the administration, maintenance, and visualization of natural or tourism-related regions. It supports you in clearly capturing, managing, statistically analyzing, and communicating hiking and cycling trails, infrastructure, wayfinding systems, maintenance areas, and trail stewardship arrangements.
NIS is based on QGIS and therefore represents a powerful open-source solution: Cost-efficient, flexible, and at the same time highly feature-rich. It offers a comprehensive alternative to commercial GIS systems and enables sustainable digital management of natural and recreational areas.
Together with my partners at map-site.de and geoinformatik-scheidt.de, I provide the initial on-site setup of NIS and offer service packages to keep the software up to date and to maintain and curate your data.
